A TikTok profile banner is the background image or GIF behind your avatar and bio. TikTok is rolling the native control out gradually. If you do not see it yet, use the three pinned posts method on the official app, or wait for the update.
This guide covers the official steps, the pinned-posts method, sizes, and what unofficial modified clients claim. It does not provide any modified APK. Use only the official TikTok app.

Official profile banner
- Open your profile → Edit profile
- Look for Change background or Banner
- Choose a photo or GIF, crop, save
Keep the official app updated from Google Play or the App Store. The option may still be missing until TikTok enables it for your account. Larger accounts often get it first.

Three pinned posts method
When the native banner is not available:
- Design one wide image (~3240 × 1440)
- Split into three 3:4 tiles (e.g. 1080 × 1440 each)
- Post the right tile first, then middle, then left
- Pin all three so they stay at the top of the grid
Newest post appears top-left, so reverse post order makes the banner read left to right. Keep important text away from the seams between tiles.

Modified clients
Unofficial modified TikTok apps (including builds searched under TikTok You) often claim an unlocked banner, GIF support, region switch and extra customization. They are not published by ByteDance and are not on the official stores. This site does not link to any modified APK.
Risks include malware, credential exposure, account bans for Terms of Service violations, and missing security updates. Prefer the official control or the pinned-posts method.
